About Dara

Dara has always had an eye for style beginning from an early age. She simply followed her heart which led her to discovering talents that have been sought by celebrity artists. Dara began styling artists as a favor to a friend because of her ability to create the unique and stylish designs which she is renowned for.

Dara began her career in design as a stylist for the stars. The list of celebrity clients that Dara has styled is extensive and covers all genres. She focused on her Nashville clients and has styled countless country artists however she did not stop there as she ventured into scenes that include artists such as Rihanna, Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart and Ozzy Osbourne.

As Dara provided her styling services her creative drive brought her to the idea of creating not only a style for her artists but also providing unique and custom pieces that represent each individual’s personality. It was this purpose that Dara began creating belt buckles. From there her buckles took on a life of their own as she began being recognized for not only her skills but also her eye for style and design.

Dara has created buckles for artists such as Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Billy Currington and Darius Rucker.  Dara’s designs have been featured in leading magazines. Her work has been commissioned by People Magazine and Country Music Weekly for artists for special events such as creating a buckle for the launch of Tim McGraw’s cologne. The list of artists and items that Dara has designed doesn’t end with simply her buckles as Dara has created many other accessories that are recognized such as Taylor Swift’s guitar strap for her 13 album.

Every one of La Dara’s buckles are handmade and her designs bring a sense of individuality to everyone that wears one.  She continues to push the boundaries of accessory design and is always finding new inspirations and techniques to create captivating pieces that stand the test of time. La Dara’s buckles are not simply utilitarian but are truly art that can not only be framed but worn.
